THE FACE MASK PROJECT
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a disruptive impact on the lives of our artisans. What initially started as a small project sponsored by Nest, it became an initiative of its own allowing us to continue working with our partners in Guatemala but also supporting artists in California. Our unique collection of face masks is handcrafted carefully in Indio, California, from the handwoven fabric we design and create in the San Pedro/San Marcos region in Guatemala.
More than 100 face masks were donated to essential workers in the Eastern Coachella Valley, California, such as volunteers at senior centers and farm workers.
Providing for our partners during these challenging times is a priority and every purchase helps us continue our work.
